I can name a few Internet of Everything (IoE) Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT) Internet of Vehicles (IoV) Internet of Services (IoS) what are the others that are already out there.

Will the machines take over. Should they be allowed to take over. Should they machines be allowed to replace humans or only limit their roles to enhance the skills of humans. Should their ever increasing roles from AI to robotic assistants be curbed by legislation. Will the industry self-control to define limits of AI and autonomous machines.

IoT is increasingly being used in Industries but mostly limited as of now to auxillary functions like ware house stock management etc. Could they become advanced in future to move from sensor role and replace the PLC and DCS controlllers.
